Multi-channel A/D converters with CAN or RS485 interface

External, multi-channel CPAD/EPAD modules combine analog signal conditioning and A/D converter in an extreme rugged box. Available with CAN or RS485 interface.

Used for precision data acquisition of slow signals in rough environments, e.g. in an engine bay of a vehicle, high quality data logging of environmental conditions or expansion of dynamic DEWETRON instruments with 12 or 100 Hz channels.

CPAD3 Modules

CPAD3 series are multi-channel modules and combine analog signal conditioning and A/D converter in an extreme rugged box. Each of the 8 measurement channels has an own A/D converter with 100 Hz sampling rate.

CPAD2 Modules

CPAD2 modules provide the measurement data via high-speed CAN, the same as CPAD3 series. But in comparison to CPAD3, they have a 24 bit multi-channel AD converter with 12 Hz sampling rate and offer 350 V galvanic isolation.

EPAD2 Modules

EPAD2 modules are 24 bit multi-channel AD converts that provide the data via RS-485 interface. With 12 Hz sampling rate and 350 V galvanic isolation. For EPAD2 series there is an interface module – EPAD2-USB– which converts the RS485 data to USB. DEWETRON systems have an EPAD2 interface, for simply connecting EPAD2 modules as static channel expansion by a single cable.
